ABOUT

I have a doctoral degree in Arid Lands Resource Science with the Minor of Global Change. Currently, I am a lecturer in the School of Architecture and Planning of the University of Arizona where I also conduct research.

My goal is to contribute to the concept of contemporary design priorities through an informed decision-making process for built environments, seeking healthy indoors and responsible use of natural resources.

My professional practice, as well as my research objectives, are based on discovering ways to improve indoor air quality.

My interest in the arid regions of the Southwestern U.S. is focused on how the multiple natural and anthropogenic sources of pollutants impact indoor air quality and how projections on climate change anticipate future increases in energy consumption and impacts in human health.
